Even before I had released Pottersville for TS3, I knew that it was a bit resource-heavy and that a lighter version might be needed. It runs fine on monster rigs, but struggles a bit on mid-range computers, and I hated the idea of releasing a world that people might like but runs "well-ish" on their systems. You know what I mean by "well-ish." It runs, but the world is sluggish at times (like during seasonal changes) and has insanely long save and loading times.
So, if you downloaded Pottersville and found that it runs "well-ish", I have a pared down version of the town called Pottersville Lite in the works. It will still be a large world, but there'll be a significant number of lots slashed to reduce the load on midrange systems. Hopefully, it'll come out soon, so stay tuned.
