As promised, work on San Marina has been progressing steadily. The world really does look to be released in the summer, provided I don't get struck by lightning. Below are screenshots from the latest playtesting session:

Below is a video preview of San Marina from three months ago (January 13, 2024), when it was at 80% completion. Here, you'll see a flyover of the world. As you can see, I had yet to put in spawners and some areas were still completed. Nevertheless, the world's come a long way since this preview, so there'll be a few changes in the official release. 😉
San Marina, the latest Sims 3 world from The Sims Depot, is now at 90% completion. Below are some recent screenshots to give you an idea of where the world is at. At the moment, these will all be from above ground so as not to spoil locations and lots for new players.
Without further ado:
I've been playtesting San Marina again this past week, and the world is passing with flying colors in terms of routing and lag, although it might struggle a little on low end machines. As you can see, it's also finally filling out nicely. Below are some screenshots from the latest playtesting session:
Work on San Marina, the up and coming Sims 3 world, is progressing steadily. Most lots have been completed, and routing seems to be fine. The world is currently being tested for gameplay issues (for example, to check if there are enough rabbit holes or subways to get around town).
Below are some of the more recent screenshots:

This week, I've been heavily playtesting San Marina, the up and coming Sims 3 WIP, and the world just experienced its first rainfall. Usually, rain in-game is fairly blah, but I thought it looked rather nice because of all the atmospheric effects. Here are a few pics to show you what I mean:

Thanks to player feedback, I was able to troubleshoot some issues some people might've been having with saving or playing Pottersville. Because of this, I have two new updates, labeled 2.1. The previous ones will be retired. I'm fairly sure that the issues have been fixed with these, so give them a go if you had problems with the previous downloads.
So, I've gone back to several of my Sims 3 CAW WIPs, one of them being San Marina, which is going to be like Starlight Shores meets San Andreas meets Stilwater. I've been struggling with this world because I didn't know where to go with it next. Then I finally played University for the first time and wham--now I have a decent idea of how to complete it and all my other worlds. I am hoping that 2024 will see a release of these worlds, as well as a remastered version of Oceanview, Sim Acres and Riverside!
